The Analysis of Demand for Sportswear and Sports Supplementation in Fitness among Gender Differences

The main research target were the demand difference between sportswear and sports supplementation in fitness enthusiasts among gender. To reveal the consumption focus of ordinary fitness crowd among them. It plays a certain role in promoting the development of fitness industry. This study involved 405 fitness enthusiasts, 207 male and 198 female. Participants were given sportswear and sports supplementation demand questionnaires. The result found female placed sportswear higher than male in each groups, male placed sports supplementation higher than female. Male long-term exercisers were lower than beginner in sportswear. In sports supplementation, the male in group more than 3 years was higher than the male in group 1-3 years, the female in group more than 3 years was higher than the female in 6-12 months group. In this survey we found the relationship between fitness duration and gender on the demand for sportswear and sports supplementation. The result showed that male pay more attention to the use of sports supplementation, and female pay more attention to the consumption of sportswear. It was also found that the increase in fitness duration led fitness enthusiasts to pay more attention to and use sports supplementation.
