This study investigated the effects of calibration factors of acoustic measurement equipments on results of floor impact noises to construct more reliable test system in terms of acoustic calibrator, frequency analyser and microphones. Acoustic calibrator provides reference sound pressure level of 94 dB at 1,000 Hz, then a correction value is derived by coupling it to each microphone in advance to the measurement. Floor impact measurement data using a heavy-weight impact source was employed to examine other calibration factors. Since calibration values of a multi-channel frequency analyzer are provided in terms of voltage value in V, a conversion method is suggested by converting it into a level value in dB so as to compare with sound pressure levels. As for the calibration report of individual microphone, its sensitivity value in V/Pa was converted into a level value in dB for each frequency band. By summing up above acoustic calibration factors for each channel of the frequency analyser, the corrected levels of the floor impact measurement data showed no significant difference with the uncorrected data.
