박양균은 실존적 존재관을 시에서 보여주었다. 존재가 세계 내에서 실존하는 것이 인간이고, 그 인간의 삶을 곧 시의 원리로 보았다. 존재의 의미를 인간과 인간관계 속에서 찾을 수 없다고 보고, 즉 인간과 인간이 관계하여 설계한 세계를 전쟁으로 황폐화 되는 것을 보고 그는 실존적 존재관을 가지게 되었다. 본고에서 살펴 본 것처럼 인간이 자연과 관계를 어떻게 구체적으로 살아가야 하는지는 침묵으로 일관하고 있다. 이 침묵은 자연에 순응하면서 살아가겠다는 또 다른 표현으로 생각된다. 왜냐하면 꽃 한 송이라는 존재를 자연과 대립시켜 놓고, 그 꽃 한 송이는 세계에 대해 웃음으로 대한다는 말이 있기 때문이다. 다시 말하면 사회적 존재로서 적극적 삶의 자세보다는 소극적인 삶의 방법을 택하였고, 즉 자연에 순응하며 실존적 존재관을 시에 반영하였다. 그리고 그 외 박양균의 작품 특징을 몇 가지로 정리하여 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 이미지화 된 시어들이 예리하고 섬세하다.둘째, 시어가 가지는 이미지는 시적 자아의 삶에서 오는 것이었다. 셋째, 그리고 시적 자아가 지향하는 것은 자아의 실현이었다.넷째, 그러나 시적 자아는 자아의 실현에 실패하였다고 의식했다. 왜냐하면 작품에 대부분 시간성을 나타내는 이미지가 인생의 허무를 의미하는 것으로 나타났기 때문이다. 그래서 그의 지향성은 항상 망설임과 회상의 시적 태도로 드러난다.다섯째, 결국 자아실현에 지향성을 두었기에 자의식이 강하게 드러났다. 자의식이 강하게 나타날수록 인생의 허무는 상대적으로 잘 드러났다. 이런 근거로 시인 박양균을 사상적인 면에서 규정한다면 실존주의자 중에서도 철저한 휴머니스트였다고 할 수 있다.

Park Yang-gyun shows a existential outlook on being in his poems. That a being exists in the world is human, the human"s life is a principle of poem for Park Yang-gyun. Thinking that a meaning of a being can not find in humans and human relationships, he takes his poetic work based on his notion that human is a rational being with a free will. The appalling war, the Korean War, the end of sphere of human relationships, makes him have a existential outlook on being. As discussed above, he is consistent in keeping silent about how human should live in the relationship between human and nature. This silence can be considered as another expression to adapt himself to nature. In other words, he chooses an inactive method than an active method as a social being, and then he reflects his existential outlook on being, adapting to nature in his poetry. These characteristics are shown well in his poem, A Flower. In relation with these aspects, we can classify his poetic qualities. First, imaged poetic words are acute and delicate. Second, images which the poetic words have is from the life of poetic self. Third, the orientation of the poetic self is the realization of self. Fourth, the poetic self is conscious of failure in the realization of self, because image of time can be considered as a vanity in life. Therefore, quality of orientation in his poetry reveals as an poetic attitude of hesitation, and recollection all the time. Fifth, as he focuses on the self-realization, the self-consciousness is revealed strongly. As the self-consciousness is revealed stronger, vanity in life also is revealed well comparatively. In this respect, if we define the poet, Park Yang-gyun, in the realm of thoughts, he can be a rugged humanist among the existentialists.
