≫본 연구는 학점은행제 교육훈련기관의 교육과정 운영 실태를 파악하고 학점은행제 교육과정 개선에 대한 정책 과제와 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 질적연구(수도권 및 지방소재 22개 교육훈련기관을 대상으로 총 178명의 기관관계자, 교 강사, 학습자를 면담)를 통하여 학점은행제 개별 교육훈련기관에서의 교육과정 운영 실태를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구결과는 1) 학점은행제 교육훈련기관의 학습공동체적 문화 인적자본 특성, 2) 학점은행제 교육훈련기관의 교육과정 운영체제 특성, 3) 학점은행제 교육훈련기관의 표준교육과정 관련 개선 요구사항, 그리고 4) 학점은행제와 표준교육과정의 중장기적 발전을 위한 개선안 및 과제 등에 관한 정책제언을 현장 정보 및 자료 분석에 기초하여 제시하고 있다.
