대학 글쓰기의 효과적인 피드백 방안

The Way of Effective Feedback at Writing Education in University

대학의 글쓰기 교육은 과거 일반교양 강좌로 시행되었던 것과는 달리 필수 교양이나 전공글쓰기로 바뀌고 있다. 그 과정에서 글쓰기 교육 과정에서 피드백에 대한 관심과 그 효과에 대해서는 그 중요성을 인식하면서도 체계적이고 전문화된 교수법으로 정립되지는 않고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 대학 글쓰기 교육 및 평가 문제를 중심으로 글쓰기 교육에 있어서 ‘효과적인 피드백 방안’를 구체적인 강의 내용을 통해 살펴보려고 했다. 글쓰기 교육에서 피드백은 학생이 쓴 글에 대해 좋고 나쁨이나 수정 사항을 제시하는 것을 말한다. 따라서 교강사는 대학 글쓰기 교육 과정(구상하기 ￫ 초안쓰기 ￫ 수정하기 ￫ 편집하기)에서 강의 목표에 맞는 내용에 따라 피드백을 해야 하며, 완성된 글에 대해서는 효과적인 글의 요건인 주제, 내용, 표현, 구성 면에서 피드백의 기준을 설정할 수 있다. 한편 피드백 과정에서 교강사와 학생은 학문적으로 그리고 인격적으로 소통하게 됨으로 여러 심리적이고 사회적인 측면이 고려되어야 한다. 본고에서는 서강대학교 교양국어 <읽기와 쓰기>강의를 토대로 이루어지는 피드백 과정을 검토하며 효과적인 피드백 방안을 모색해 보았다. 글쓰기 강의에서 피드백을 하려면 교과목의 강의목표를 토대로 피드백 내용을 설정해야 한다. 본고에서 다룬 <읽기와 쓰기>는 ‘읽기’와 ‘쓰기’가 결합된 강의 내용을 담고 있기 때문에, 읽기에 대한 피드백과 쓰기에 대한 피드백이 동시적으로 행했다. 또한 피드백은 보다 객관적인 평가와 학생들의 강의 참여도를 높인다는 점에서 유효하다. 앞서 논의했듯이 피드백 평가 기준과 모범답안은 강의 내용과 평가에 대한 학생들의 신뢰감을 높일 수 있고, 수준별 피드백을 통해 학생들의 글쓰기 능력을 차등적으로 향상시킬 수 있었다. 글쓰기 과정에 대한 구체적이고 실증적인 접근의 차원에서 효과적인 피드백 방안은 더 많은 논의와 검증이 필요하다.

Now the writing education in the university has changed to indispensable culture or specialty writing, having been enforced by that it is unlike the past general education lecture. In writing educational process, the importance of feedback is recognized. But, the teaching methods for feedback by which systematic specialization was carried out were not. Therefore, this paper by a concrete lecture will study the way of effective feedback at education and evaluation problems in university writing. Writing education says that feedback presents a correction matter In a university writing educational process(prewriting ￫ drafting ￫ revising and editing). A professor gets feedback according to the contents(the theme, the contents, expression, and a composition side.) which hit a lecture target and can set up the standard of feedback. On the other hand, professor and students must maintain personal social relations in feedback process This study looks for the method proposal of feedback in <Reading and dictation> lecture. <Reading and dictation> combine the education to read and the education to write. Professor makes the valuation basis and the model answer about feedback which is trusted by students. Students’ writing capability will is able to be advanced according to level-lead feedback. In a writing process, at the dimension of concrete and positive approach, the good method of feedback requires many arguments, and verification.
