Playing with a `Jegi', kicking a shuttlecock-like object with the inside of the foot, is an interestingKorean traditional game. In this study, we observed the motion of a Jegi and analyzed its motionwith video analysis. By this method, we then derived an equation of motion for the Jegi by using avelocity-time graph drawn from the data. The physics concepts relating to the Jegi's motion thatwe can teach students are gravity, free fall, air resistance, velocity, terminal velocity, acceleration, net force, and others. Such concepts in the motion of the Jegi were taught to high-school physicsclasses, and the students' achievements were analyzed.
