도전행동에 대한 기능사정과 지원방안 고찰

A Study on the Functional Assessment and Support Plan of the Challenging Behavior

Challenging behavior seen in young children is an obstacle to social and emotional development and is likely to cause serious maladjustment in school and adulthood. The efforts of behavioral analysts have had a significant impact on the analysis and arbitration of challenging behavior. The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical framework for proactive functional assessment and interventions to manage challenging behaviors of young children. For this, we discussed the issues such as outline of functional assessment, positive behavior support, development and maintenance of challenging behavior, effective strategies to prevent or reduce challenging behavior, and behaviors of experts who directly apply functioning.

어린 아동들에게서 보여 지는 도전행동은 사회적, 정서적 발달에 방해 요인으로 작용되며, 학교생활이나 성인기 생활에 있어서 심각한 부적응을 초래할 가능성이 높다. 행동분석가들의 노력은 도전행동에 대한 분석과 중재에 상당한 영향을 미쳤다. 이 연구는 유아들의 도전행동을 관리하기 위한 사전예방적인 기능사정 및 중재에 관련한 이론적인 틀을 제공하기 위함이다. 이에 대해 기능사정 개요, 긍정적 행동지원, 도전행동의 전개와 유지, 도전행동을 예방하거나 줄이기 위한 효과적인 전략, 기능사정을 직접적으로 적용하는 전문가의 행동 등의 문제에 대해 선행연구들의 검토를 통해 논의하였다.
