The purpose of this study is to search the child care teachers" professional developmental levels and the characteristic of a type of child care center. The study participants were 1073 child care teachers in child care center in Seoul and Kyung gi areas. The data analysis was executed with one-way ANOVA. The results of this study revel that the characteristic of a type of child care center has significant relationship with teachers" internal background. Also there is a significant relationship the child care teachers" professional developmental levels with a type of child care center.
본 연구는 보육교사의 전문성 발달 수준에 대한 기초 연구로 보육시설 관련 변인인 보육시설 유형, 담당학급에 따른 보육교사 집단이 연령, 학력 및 전공, 자격유형의 개인적 변인에 따라 각각 어떠한 특성을 가지는지 알아보고, 보육시설 관련 변인에 따른 보육교사의 전문성 발달 수준이 어떠한지를 알아보고자 한다. 연구대상은 서울, 경기지역에 근무하는 보육교사 1,073명으로 질문지를 통해 이루어졌고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 카이검증과 일원변량분석을 통해 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 보육기설 관련변인은 교사의 개인적 변인과 상관이 있으며, 보육교사의 전문성 발달 수준은 보육시설 유형에 따라 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있었다.
