Eco-translatology is a translation theory newly proposed by Chinese scholar Hu Gengshen by combining translation with ecology. This study selected examples in "Kim Jiyeong, Born in 1982" from the perspective of eco-translatology. This study compared and analyzed three dimensions including linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension so as to explore the translation strategies in literary works. There have been omissions or misinterpretations that undermine language ecology in Chinese translations, but overall, there seems to be no serious errors. This study is meaningful in terms of the possibility of using the theory of "three-dimensional transformation". A research on Eco-Translatology is expected to become richer and richer. Eco-Translatology can be applied to various angles in translation studies presented by Chinese scholars. In particular, it can be used as a translation theory when translating Korean literary works and Chinese literary works. A further study of literary works from various angles using the theory of Eco-Translatology, is needed, In the future.
