LEGAL LEGACY: THE EVOLUTION OF KOREAN LEGISLATION THROUGH FOREIGN INFLUENCES

This study analyzes foreign influence on Korean legislation and its impact on legal modernization. The influences of the Chinese, German, French, Japanese, American, and international legal systems on Korean legal evolution are explored. A comprehensive literature review and historical analysis were performed. Specific cases of law adoption and legal reforms in Korea influenced by these foreign sources were examined.
