This paper examines the trends and future prospects of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in the field of literature education. The rapid advancements in generative AI technologies, such as ChatGPT and HyperCLOVA X, have facilitated their integration into the education sector and present potential for introducing new learning and creative approaches in literature education. This study briefly introduces the fundamental concepts and mechanisms of generative AI and analyzes its application in literature education both domestically and internationally. The findings indicate that generative AI can enhance the quality of literature education through personalized learning, creative writing support, and critical reinterpretation of literary works, especially in the context of an accelerated digital transformation. However, challenges remain, including ethical considerations, privacy protection, and technical limitations, which necessitate policy and educational support for effective implementation. This study suggests that generative AI can play a vital role in enabling literature education to meet new demands of the evolving era.
이 논문은 문학교육 분야에서 생성형 인공지능(Generative AI, GAI)의 활용 동향과 미래 전망을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 ChatGPT와 HyperCLOVA X와 같은 생성형 인공지능 기술의 발전은 교육 분야에 빠르게 적용되고 있으며, 문학교육에서도 새로운 학습 및 창작 방식을 도입할 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 생성형 인공지능의 기본 개념과 원리를 간략히 소개하고, 국내외 문학교육 분야에서의 활용 사례를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 생성형 인공지능은 학습자 맞춤형 교육, 창의적 글쓰기 지원, 문학 작품의 비판적 재해석 등 문학교육의 질을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있으며, 특히 디지털 전환이 가속화된 교육 환경에서 효과적인 도구로 활용될 가능성이 크다. 그러나 인공지능 활용에 따른 윤리적 문제와 개인정보 보호, 기술적 한계 등의 과제가 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 정책적 및 교육적 지원이 요구된다. 본 연구는 문학교육이 새로운 시대적 요구를 반영해 나가는 데 있어 생성형 인공지능이 중요한 역할을 할 수 있음을 시사한다.
