대학생의 미디어 리터러시가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감과 학습몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로

A Study on the Impact of University Students’ Media Literacy on College Life Adjustment: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy and Learning Engagement

This study aims to investigate the mediating effects of self-efficacy and learning engagement in the relationship between media literacy and college life adjustment among university students in South Korea. An online survey was conducted from October 10 to October 20, 2023, targeting 350 students enrolled in four-year universities nationwide. Data were analyzed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. The results showed that media literacy has a significant effect on self-efficacy and college life adjustment. Furthermore, self-efficacy and learning engagement were found to significantly influence college life adjustment. However, media literacy did not have a significant effect on learning engagement. Additionally, self-efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between media literacy and college life adjustment, whereas learning engagement did not exhibit a mediating effect. This study highlights the importance of media literacy as a strategy for improving college life adjustment, offering meaningful insights for further research and practical applications.

본 연구는 국내 대학생들의 미디어 리터러시가 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는관계에서 자기효능감과 학습몰입의 매개효과를 살펴보기 위함이다. 이를 위하여전국 소재 4년제 대학생 350명을 대상으로 2023년 10월 10일부터 10월 20일까지온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고 SPSS 24.0 과 AMOS 24.0을 이용하여 분석을 진행하였다. 분석 결과, 미디어 리터러시는 자기효능감과 대학생활적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고자기효능감과 학습몰입 또한 대학생활적응에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 반면 미디어리터러시는 학습몰입에 유의미한 영향을미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 더불어자기효능감은 대학생의 미디어 리터러시와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 밝혀졌으나 학습몰입은매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 본 연구는대학생활적응을 위한 방안으로 미디어 리터러시의 중요성을 확인했다는 점에서 의미를 가진다.
