GenAI를 활용한 영상 제작 교육의 가능성과 시사점

Possibilities and Implications of GenAI-Based Video Production Education

본 연구는 GenAI 기술이 영상 제작 교육에 미치는 영향을 탐구하고, 새로운 교육적 접근을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 애니메이션, 영화, 디자인 전공 학생들을 대상으로 4주간 사례 연구를 진행하며, 텍스트, 이미지, 비디오, 오디오 도구를 활용해 단편 영화를 제작하였다. 설문조사 결과, GenAI 도구는 작업 시간 단축(73.9%)과 창의적 지원(69.6%)에서 긍정적 효과를 보였으나, 품질 평가 만족도는 47.8%에 그쳤다. 주요 한계로는 장면(캐릭터&배경)의 일관성 부족, 감정 표현 한계, 복잡한 장면 구현의 제약 등이 나타났으며, 결과물에서 창의성 발휘와 서사 구조 개선 등 기술적 한계를 넘어선 접근도 필요했다. 이를 해결하기 위해 기초 역량 교육, AI 리터러시 강화, 윤리적 활용 중심의 교육이 필요하며, GenAI와 전통적 기술의 융합을 통해 창의적이고 효율적인 영상제작 교육 모델을 구축할 필요가 있다.

This study analyzes the impact of GenAI technology on video production education and proposes new approaches. A four-week workshop was conducted with students majoring in animation, film, and design, using text, image, video, and audio tools to create short films. GenAI tools showed positive effects in reducing production time (73.9%) and enhancing creativity (69.6%), but quality satisfaction was low at 47.8%. Key challenges included inconsistencies in scenes, limitations in emotional expression, and difficulties in implementing complex scenes. This study emphasizes the necessity of a creative and efficient educational model that integrates GenAI with traditional techniques through foundational training, AI literacy, and ethical utilization.
