국내 이주민 인구가 가파르게 증가하면서 이들의 사회통합을 저해하는 내국인의혐오와 차별행위에 관한 학술적 관심도 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 지난 10년간출간된 국내 이주민에 대한 혐오와 차별을 조사한 경험연구 문헌의 현황을 분석하고 향후 연구과제를 제안하고자 하였다. 이에 따라, PRISMA 가이드라인에 의거하여 2013~2022년의 10년간 출간된 국내외 학술논문 332편을 선별하여 체계적으로 문헌고찰을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 현재 국내 이주민 관련 선행 문헌은혐오 연구의 부족, 연구 대상 집단의 편향, 인지된 차별과 혐오감에의 배타적 집중, 혐오･차별의 사회적 결과에 대한 낮은 관심 등의 특정 경향을 보이고 있었다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위하여 향후 연구는 다양한 하위집단의 조사, 다양한 혐오･차별 유형의 탐색, 그리고 혐오･차별과 사회불평등의 상관관계에 관한 관심을더 기울일 필요가 있다.
As the immigrant population in South Korea rapidly increases, academic interest in the hate and discriminatory behaviors of local Koreans that hinder their social integration is also rising. Therefore, this study reviews empirical research literature on hate and discrimination against immigrants published over the past decade and proposes future research directions. Following the PRISMA guidelines, a systematic literature review was conducted, by selecting 332 academic papers published between 2013 and 2022. Findings reveal that the existing literature is characterized by a lack of research on hate, bias in the studied target groups, an exclusive focus on perceived discrimination and feelings of hate, and lower interest in the social consequences of discrimination and hate. Future research should pay attention to investigate various subgroups, explore different types of discrimination and hate, and examine the correlation between discrimination, hate, and social inequality.
