This study focuses on the ethical dimension of the Chinese and Korean honorific systems, exploring their cultural foundations and practical applications through theoretical modeling, corpus analysis, and experimental research. The study constructs a “Heavenly Principle–Mind-Nature” dual-axis model, integrating Zhu Xi’s li-qi theory and Yi Hwang’s heart-mind theory, to analyze differences in terms of appellations, syntactic structures, and pragmatic strategies in Chinese and Korean honorifics. Findings indicate that the Chinese honorific system primarily adheres to ritual discipline, emphasizing social hierarchy and external order, whereas the Korean honorific system centers on mind cultivation, stressing the internal expression of respect. Moreover, neuro-linguistic experiments reveal significant differences in cognitive processing between the two systems, further validating the Honorific Ethical Encoding Intensity Model. Drawing upon pedagogical practice, this study proposes strategies for cultivating ethical sensitivity in honorific usage and offers recommendations for curriculum reform and teacher training. This research not only enriches the theoretical framework of honorific studies but also provides empirical insights for cross-cultural communication and language education.
本研究聚焦汉韩敬语系统的伦理维度,通过理论构建、语料分析与实验研究,探讨两种语言敬语体系的文化根源及其现实应用。研究以“天理—心性”双轴模型为核心,结合朱子理气论与退溪心性论,解析汉韩敬语在称谓、句式、语用策略等方面的差异。 研究发现,汉语敬语以礼制规训为主,强调社会等级与外在秩序,而韩语敬语则侧重于心性涵养,突出内在敬意表达。此外,神经语言学实验揭示了两种敬语系统在认知加工上的显著不同,进一步印证了伦理编码强度模型的合理性。研究还结合教学实践,提出敬语伦理敏感性培养策略,并对教材改革与教师培训提出建议。本研究不仅丰富了敬语研究的理论框架,也为跨文化交际与语言教学提供了实证参考。
