This paper presents a domain decomposition method for solving two-dimensional convection-diffusion equations. Domain decomposition methods are generally known to be highly efficient for partial differential equations. In this paper, we analyze its efficiency based on spectral radius. Theoretical spectral radius values for the iterative methods derived from the domain decomposition method are established and compared with actual values. The stability and efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated numerically through illustrative examples.
