태권도장 서비스품질과 지속의도의 관계에 대한 메타분석

Meta-Analysis on the Relationship between Taekwondo Gym Service Quality and Continuance Intention

본 연구는 국내 태권도장 서비스품질과 지속의도의 관계를 종합적으로 파악하기 위하여 상관관계 효과크기를 기반으로 메타분석을 실시하였다. 이는 SERVQUAL 모델에서 발전된 5개 태권도장 서비스품질 요인이 지속의도라는 의지적 소비행위에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 것이다. 또한 태권도장 서비스의 직접적 소비자인 수련생과 간접적 소비자인 학부모를 서로 다른 소비주체 유형으로 구분하여 태권도장 서비스품질과 지속의도 간 조절효과가 존재하는지도 검토하였다. 이를 위해 2023년 12월까지 발행된 국내 학술논문 및 학위논문을 PRISMA 가이드라인에 따라 선별하였으며, 최종적으로 총 54편의 논문을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 메타분석 대상 논문의 피어슨 상관계수를 기반으로 소프트웨어 R ver 4.3.1을 통해 상관효과크기분석 및 동질성검사, 출판편향검사, 조절효과분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태권도장 서비스품질과 지속의도의 전체 상관효과크기는 0.412로 나타났으며, 이는 중간 수준의 상관성을 가진 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 태권도장 서비스품질 하위요인과 지속의도 간 상관효과크기를 분석한 결과에서는 확신성이 0.490로 가장 높은 상관효과크기를 나타냈으며, 다음으로 응답성(0.439), 신뢰성(0.420), 공감성(0.413), 유형성(0.373) 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 소비주체에 따른 조절효과를 분석한 결과, 수련생에 비해 학부모에게 있어 확신성과 지속의도 간 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종합적으로 본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 태권도장 서비스품질과 지속의도 간의 신뢰할 수 있는 상관관계를 규명한 최초의 연구라는 점에서 학문적 가치를 지니며, 확신성이라는 서비스 요인이 학부모의 지속의도 결정에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 실천적 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

This study conducted a meta-analysis based on the correlation effect size to comprehensively understand the relationship between domestic Taekwondo gym service quality and continuance intention. This is to verify the influence of five Taekwondo gym service quality factors developed from the SERVQUAL model on continuance intention, which is a deliberate consumption behavior. In addition, we investigated the moderating effect of consumer type on the relationship between Taekwondo gym service quality and continuance intention, categorizing consumers into two distinct groups: direct consumers (trainees) and indirect consumers (parents). To this end, domestic academic papers and dissertations published up to December 2023 were selected according to the PRISMA guidelines, and a total of 54 papers were finally selected as the analysis subjects. Based on the Pearson correlation coefficient of the meta-analysis target papers, correlation effect size analysis, homogeneity test, publication bias test, and moderating effect analysis were conducted using software R ver. 4.3.1. The results of the study are as follows. First, the overall correlation effect size between Taekwondo gym service quality and continuation intention was 0.412, which was confirmed to have a medium level of correlation. Second, the analysis of the correlation effect sizes between the sub-factors of Taekwondo gym service quality and continuance intention revealed that the assurance factor demonstrated the highest correlation effect size (0.490), followed by the responsiveness factor (0.439), the reliability factor (0.420), the empathy factor (0.413), and the tangibility factor (0.373). Third, the analysis of the moderating effect based on consumer type revealed a significantly stronger correlation between assurance and continuance intention among parents compared to trainees. Overall, this study is academically significant as it represents the first investigation to establish a reliable correlation between Taekwondo gym service quality and continuance intention through meta-analysis. Additionally, it offers practical implications by demonstrating that the assurance factor plays a pivotal role in shaping parents" decisions concerning continuance intention.
