Educational practices and Challenges for Children with Autism in Mainland China

The paper described the developmental history of education, analyzed the current educational practices, and proposed the education challenges for children with autism in mainland China. It concluded that education for children with autism in mainland China is still at the beginning stage, rigid copying and imitating of training and therapy ofen exist in present education practice, and providing an appropriate education to every child with autism is a challenging task to accomplish in mainland China.
