Evaluating Parent-to-Parent Program

This paper reports the evaluative results for a 10 year old Targeted Parent Assistance (TPA) Project||| a parent to parent helping program for Kansas children with mental health problems and Their families||| by analyzing the client tracking databases. Data from 1656 cases||| served over three Years||| were coded and quantitatively analyzed. This study reveals the extent of family involvement and advocacy in the mental health field through the 10 level continuum with descriptive statistics and cross tabulation analysis. Survival analysis was also conducted to compare the trends in active/inactive status of the client over time for some variables client status||| service area and race/ethnicity.
