Research on Actual Condition of Community Connection Education in Kindergarten in loacal cities and agricultural regions -Focusing on eastern region of Jeonlanamdo Province-

This research current state of community connection education in kindergarten in local cities and agricultural regions. The purpose is to identify related problems and possible solutions, and provide preliminary data for developing community connecting educational program that caters to needs of provincial towns and rural areas. A survey was conducted for 148 teachers at public and private kindergarten located in eastern district in Jeonlanamdo Province. The analysis result revealed that most kindergartens in local cities and agricultural regions. conducted community connection education in varying methods. In regard to problerns of community connection education, teachers in local cities indicated, indicated inconvenient traffic as the greatest obstacle, while teachers in agricultural regions pointed out lack of community resource. Regarding how to facilitate community connection education, teachers in both local cities and agricultural regions indicated development and distribution of educational programs to be the most urgent task
