최근 맞벌이 가정의 증가에 따른 정부의 무상보육 지원정책으로 인하여 유아들은 어린 시기 부터 유아교육기관이라는 환경 속에 적응해야 한다. 유아교육기관에서 일부 유아들은 다양한 원 인으로 인해 기관에 적응하는 데 어려움을 겪기도 하며, 이러한 어려움들은 바람직하지 않은 문 제행동으로 나타나기도 한다(김정림, 이은정, 2014).
