The purpose of this study was to examine the process of becoming a bully in physical education class and how the bullied individuals perceived their bullying experiences and how these influenced them using grounded theory. The participants of the study were 8 5th grade (4 male and 4 female) students with bullied experience in physical education class. Five teachers who teach physical education also participated in interview to provide exhaustive explanations. The researcher also observed 15 physical education classes throughout one semester, taking field notes. The interviews and field notes were used for triangulation and constant comparison for data analysis. Grounded theory-based research generated a victimizing process in school bullying in physical education: (a) bullies test out their victims; (b) bulling steps up more; (c) bulling gets fully established; and (d) Bulling leaves after-effects.
