국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 활용한 4년제 대학의 메이크업 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구

A Study on the Curriculum Development of Make-up in University Using National Competency Standards(NCS)

본 연구의 목적은 메이크업 분야의 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에 근거한 4년제 대학의 메이크업 교 육과정 개발을 위한 기초적인 자료를 제시하는 데 있다. 연구목적을 효과적으로 달성하기 위해 먼 저 문헌분석을 통해 NCS 기반의 교육과정 관련 선행연구를 살펴본 후 H대학교 피부미용학과의 NCS 기반 교육과정 개발을 사례연구로 진행하였다. 이를 위하여 산업체 및 재학생을 대상으로 수 요를 파악하고 NCS에서 제시한 능력단위와 자체능력단위에 근거하여 교육과정을 개편하였다. 그 결과, 메이크업 직무에 필요한 능력단위를 반영하여 교과목을 도출하여 산업체 및 재학생의 요구를 반영한 교육과정을 개발하였다. 향후 교육과정을 현장에서 운영하고 평가하는 방법 등은 지속적으 로 논의되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구의 결과는 NCS 기반의 수요자 중심 교육과정을 통하여 능력중심 사회에 요구되는 메이크업 직업인의 양성에 이바지하여, 국가정책에 부응하는 학과 취업률을 제고 하기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to provide framework for the national competency standard based curriculum development in the field of make-up at university. Based on the review of literature, case study of curriculum development of H university, department of cosmetology was conducted from a perspective of national competency standard (NCS). In the study, the contracting out students of industries were surveyed to find out the demand of industries and curriculum was reformed based on the competency unit and department’s own competency standards by NCS. Further study is needed operation of NCS-based curriculum including subject-materials, syllabus, evaluation in teaching & learning. The result of this study, through the demand-focused curriculum based on NCS, is to contribute to cultivation of professional personnel in make-up required for society with the ability system, and it is also to expect implementation of strategy promoting employment rate to comply with the national policy.
