미래사회 대비 ‘좋은 미술교사

Exploring the Meaning of a Good Art Teacher for Future Society

본 연구는 급변하는 미래사회의 좋은 미술교사의 역량에 대한 교사의 관점을 파악하기 위 한 것이다. 이를 위해 선행연구 탐색을 통해 좋은 교사의 의미를 탐색하였다. 또한 기존 연구 에서 좋은 교사의 의미에 대한 이견들에 대하여 미술교사를 대상으로 설문지와 인터뷰를 통 해 다양한 의견을 수렴하였다. 연구결과, 미래사회에서의 교육은 학습 환경과 교육환경의 변 화에 따라 학교의 역할, 교수 학습의 방법, 학습자와 교사의 역할이 변화 될 것이라고 예측되 었다. 또한 사회 문화적 변화를 통하여 교육 협력적 상황이 강조되고, 지식전달자의 입장에서 조력자의 역할을 강조하는 미래사회의 미술교사가 좋은 교사라는 공통된 의견이 도출되었다. 이 연구는 그동안 진행된 좋은 교사에 대한 연구들과 비교하여 미술교과의 특성을 반영한 ‘좋은 미술교사’에 대한 접근을 통해 미술교사가 생각하는 ‘좋은 미술교사’의 의미를 탐색했다 는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

This study was to find out a good art teacher’s competences for the rapidly changing future society. To achieve this purpose, the meaning of a good teacher was explored using advanced researches. And also, art teachers’ diversity of opinions of existing research about good art teacher’s different view were collected by using questionnaire and interview for current art teachers. As a result, a following research results were drawn; a role of school education, teaching and learning methods, roles of learners and teachers might be changed according to changes of learning and education environment in the future society. Besides, a common ground that a good art teacher will emphasize educational cooperation, and his(her) role will be not knowledge transmitter but learner assistance in the future was found out. This study was meaningful in terms of exploring the a good art teacher’s meaning reflecting characteristics of art teacher throughout their views different from advanced researches about a good teacher.
