Fetishism is a psychosexual disorder in which nonliving objects are repeatedly or exclusively used in achieving sexual excitement. The essential feature of fetishism is recurrent, intense, sexual urges and sexually arousing fantasies, of at least six m onths duration，involving the use o f nonliving objectsCfetishes). A m ong the m ore com m on fetish objects are bras, w om en’s underpants, stocking, shose, boots, or other wearing apparel. The authors experienced a 37 year old male fetishism patient accom panied with anxiety and depression, who had stolen white shoes by com pulsive acting o f recurrent, intense sexual urges. Therefore we reported this patient and reviewed the related articles.
