In order to evaluate the influence of H I, H2-histamine antagonist and disulfiram to ethanol and acetaldehyde patch test results, the author administerted the questionnaire about physical and physiological response related to alcohol drinking and patch test(70% Ethanol, 99.8% Ethanol, 1% Acetaldehyde) and drugs (histamine) antagonist ； chlorpheniramine, cimetidine, disulfiram) to 53 male medical students in Chosun Unversity. The results are summerized as follow; 1) In the results of 70% EPT, the positive rates of skin erythema were 71.7% in none medication group, 64.2% in histamine antagonist group, 94.3 캉 in disulfiram group. So there were significant differences in the positive rates of skin erythema among three groups(p<C.000). 2) In the results of 99.8% EPT, the positive rates of skin erythema were 71.7% in none medication group, 67.9% in histamine antagonist group, 94.3% in disulfiram group. So there were significant differences in the rates of skin erythema among three groups(p<.000). 3) In the results of 1% acetaldehyde patch test, the positive rates of skin flushing were 100% in Disulfiram group. But there were no significant differences among three groups (p<C 069). 4) In the result of the ANOVA, the main effect of patch type(df=2, F = 94.27, P=.000) and drug condition (d f= 4，F = 8.98, P=.000) variable were significant. And also, two-way interaction effect of patch type by drug condition was significant(df二 4, F : 66.35, P=.000). 5) In the test for the positive and negative group differences of physical and psychological response, there were significant differences on the item of facial flushing( 1=21.16, P=.000) palpitation(t= 11.41, P = .0 0 l), dizziness(t=5.53, P=.024), aversive feeling about drinking(t=4. 89, P=.033), comfortable feelingCt^S.Ql, P=.055). 6) There were no significant group difference on the drinking habit and amount of positive and negative group.
