Comparison of Pain Sensitivity between Premenstrual Group and Proliferative Group in Females with Premenstrual Syndrome

The authors m easured pain threshold in the females with prem enstrual syndrome and compared the data between 23 females in the prem enstrual phase and 21 females in the proliferative phase. Pain threshold of those in the prem enstrual phase was 8.56± 6.25 sec., a significantly lower value compared to 12.76± 9.52 sec. of those in the proliferative phase.
