한국에서의 Koro환자 1 례

A Koro Patient in Korea

The authors treated a 53 year-old male patient with Koro. He complained of pain on the penis which felt like shrinking into the abdomen for two months prior to admission. Physical examination and laboratory findings were normal and IQ was 80. Lack of knowledge in sex due to the low IQ, overindulgence in sex caused by his fear of dissatisfying his wife with premature ejaculation, and preoccupation with his penis seemed to have contributed to the problem. The patient was given Clorazepate (Tranxence항 30mg in divided doses. The patient improved from the second day of treatment and retured to normal state after fifteen days. The patient is being follewed at the Outpatient department.
