The purpose of this study is to develop materials for making storytelling in storytelling-based classes, to learn the changes in linguistic interaction and mathematical attitudes that occur in students making of mathematical stories, I see that purpose. Storytelling lesson was designed around the triangle unit of the second grade geometry area, and mathematical learning material based on storytelling was developed in accordance with 2009 revision curriculum and applied to 9th grade middle school students. As a result, we were able to confirm the students level and mathematical concepts through the linguistic interaction in the process of making stories by oneself and correcting the problems of the students through the story making activities. The students felt the sense of accomplishment and confidence, Interest in mathematics and a sense of purpose.
