The purpose of this study was to develop a digital textbook on respiration. The focus of developing digital textbooks was to share information among learners and between teachers and students through utilizing technologies. This textbook allows the teacher to check instantly if the student submits the formative assessment via the Google form, so that feedback is easy and allows the student to write the experiment report by sharing with the group members. SDF Studio 2 was used as the authoring tool of the digital textbook. The developed digital textbook was highly compatible and could be used widely. The photographs and videos used in the textbooks were taken directly and edited. Using the developed digital textbooks, students satisfaction was assessed before and after classes. The results of the survey showed that when students studied using the digital textbook, they found that they were motivated to learn, self-directed, and easy to use, but they felt uncomfortable with Google access. The result suggested that teachers should know and use Evernote and Google in advance, so students could use them without confusion.
