범죄 예측 척도에 관한 예비적 연구

A Preliminary Study for the Development of a Predictive Scale of Criminality

  • 4

The authors investigated the outcome of 52 m ilitary prisoners who had taken personal semi-structured interview with an answer sheet about demographic items during the period drom March to April 1985. Two psychological tests, M M P I & C P I (California Psychological Inventory), were performed. And their results were discussed w ith discriminant analyses. A control group of 50 males was extracted from the draftees of Korean Army. The results are summarized as follows; 1) In the comparison of mean raw scores of criminals & controls on M M P I scales, 5 showed statistically significant difference. (L,K ,M a ,P 〈0.05, Hy, pd, p(0 .0 1) 2) In the comparison of mean raw scores of criminals & controls on C P I scales, 4 showed statistically significant difference, (Sa, Do, p(0 .0 5 , Sy, So, p 〈0.01) 3) The items showing the significant difference between two groups no M M P I & C P I were extracted. (Appendix) These extracted item s were again classified depending on each subscale of each psychological test. And Discriminant analyses were done about the new M M P I & C P I scales. Group centroids were calculated. Standardized discriminant function coefficients were calculated on both groups and applied no both actual groups. It follows that an average 89.2% on new M M P I and an average 78.3% on new C P I were correctly classified by such method.
