The serum level of TSH of the depressed patients was not different from that of control group. 3 . The serum levels of T3 , T4 and TSH of the depressed states in major affective disorder were significantly lower than those of control group. (PC0.01) 4 . Compared with each subtype of the depression, the serum levels of T3 , T4 and TSH of the depressed states in major affective disorder were significantly lower than those of, the dysthymic disorder group.
