A 16 year-old female patient was admitted to Kyung Hee University Hospital on August 8, 1984 because of convulsion, oliguria, exfoliative dermatitis, dysarthria and tremor. She had been employed in a thermometer-manufacturing factory for 2 months, when digestive, dermatologic, renal and neurologic symptoms developed. At the time of admission, the cerebellar symptoms and cognitivedeficit were remarkable, which were improved by administration of dimercaprol and penicillamine.
