대학생들의 사회적 관심과 진로결정수준의 관계: 자기격려의 조절효과

A moderating effect of self-encouragement between Social interest and Career decision level of university students

본 연구는 대학생들의 사회적 관심과 진로결정수준 간의 관계에 대한 자기격려의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경상남도 내 창원시에 재학 중인 대학생 272명을 대상으로 사회적 관심검사, 진로결정수준 검사, 자기격려 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 측정변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그리고 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 대학생들의 사회적 관심과 진로결정수준 간에 상관관계를 검증한 결과 정적 상관으로 나타났으며, 사회적 관심과 진로결정수준, 사회적 관심과 자기격려, 진로결정수준과 자기격려 간에 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생들의 사회적 관심과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 자기격려의 조절효과는 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 대학생의 사회적 관심과 자기격려는 진로결정 수준에 긍정적 영향으로 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었고, 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의와 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 수행하였다.

The study is done to discuss the effects of self-encouragement of university students relationship between social interests and level of career decisions. The study conducted a survey of social interests, test of level of career decisions, and self-encouragement tests for 272 university students in downtown C in Kyungnam province. The collected data were subjected to correlation analysis to determine the general tendencies of the measured variables. Also, simple regression analyses were carried out to determine the relationships between variables. and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study showed as follows: firstly, it demonstrated as a positive relationship between social interests of university students and career decisions level, between social interests and self-encouragement, between career decisions level and self-encouragement. secondly, control effect of self-encouragement was demonstrated as meaningful between social interest and career decisions level. The study proved that university students’ social interests and self-encouragement showed a positive effect on the level of career decisions. On the basis on these findings, discussion and suggestions for further research were practiced.
