The authors presented 3 cases of pellagra complicated in chronic alcoholics, who were fcund out of 39 cases of chronic alcoholics treated in a period of three years (1980,1981 and 1982) at the Neuropsychiatric Dept, of Maryknoll General Hospital in Busan. Only two cases of pellagra were reported by psychiatrists in Korea. However, in the face of increasing incidence of alcoholism in this country, we call for attention to probable increase of pellagra associated with chronic alcoholism in the future.
