In order to understand better and to collect basic data concerning masturbation among juvenile delinquents thus to set up basic policy on sex education and also to prevent sex crimes and delinquencies, questionaires were given to 757 juveniles (687 males and 70 females) who were selected at random from 11 different juvenile institutions. Their age range was between 12 to 21. The collected data was computerized by using SPSS program and statistically analyzed by X 2 chisquare method. The results of this study are as follows： 1. Among 570(519 males and 51 females) juvenile delinquents surveyed. 412 of them (381 males and 31 females) were found to he awaring of masturbation. Male deiquents (73.4%) proved to be more knowledgeable about the subject than females (60.8%). 2. The collected data showed the case of violence (80. 2%) had more knowledge than of larceny (67. 6%) and of felony (71.4%). 3. Those who learned through peers came from older, male, the case of violence and current substances user. While those who were not aware of masturbation or learned through books came from younger and female delinquents. 4. As for the initial epxerience of masturbation among juvenile delinquents, 15 and 16 years age group showed the highest percentage (26.896), 5. Those who were aware of masturbation and yet had not practiced came from younger, female delinquents and were not involved in substances yet.
