The authors present a case of pellagra developed in a chronic alcoholic patient. On admission this patient exhibited typical symptoms of pellagra such as dermatitis, dia-rrhea and delirious state. Concurrent treatment by high vitam ins including niacin, major tranquilizer and antidepressant not only prevented furth e r development of his delirious state to dementia b ut improved his delirious state and other pellagra symptoms in a month.
