This action research project examined the impact of using music curriculum based multiple intelligence theory at the elementary schools. The subjects were the fifth and fourth grade students in two elementary schools in Seoul, Korea. The subjects received multiple music program from a classroom teacher for 45 minutes twice per week from october, 2001 to february, 2002. The effects of multiple intelligence music program were analyzed through class observation, student`s products, music lesson plans, student reaction, and teacher interview. The findings indicated that the students were presented the development of musical understanding, music performance ability, musical attitude, problem solving ability, cooperative ability, and self-esteem.
