The authors present a case of recurrent depression who consumed large amount of alcohol in order to alleviate her anxiety, depression and insomnia. On admission she was prohibited drinking. Three days after admission she showed the typical picture of delirium tremens. At first her delirious picture confused as signs of amitriptyline induced hypnogoic hallucination. Concurrent trement by high vitamins including vitamin B complex and fluid supply soon cleard her delirium tremens.
