精神分裂症과 알콜精神病의 幻覺에 對한 臨床的 比較考察

A CLINICAL COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE HALLUCINATIONS IN SCHIZOPHRENICS AND ALCOHOLIC PSYCHOTICS

This comparative study of hallucinations was conducted in two groups : 28 cases of schizophrenics and 23 cases of alcoholic psychotics, who had been hospitalized in the Dept, of Neuro-psychiatry, Cho- sun University Hospital from Jan. 1976 to Dec. 1978. The results were as follow s; 1. The average age was 39.2 years on alcoholic psychotics and 23.5 years on schizophrenics with hallucinations. All cases were male in alcoholic psychotics, while no difference is found in sex ratio in schizophrenics. 2. The frequent type of schizophrenics were paranoid (53.696), acute schizophrenic episode (17.9%) and hebephrenic type (10.7 % )t and in the alcoholics, the delirium tremens (69.6% ) and alcoholic psychosis were most frequently found. 3. In average educational period, 10.5 years in schizophrenics and 9.6 years in alcoholic psychotics. 4. Regarding to the nature of hallucinations,frequently seen one was auditory hallucinations (89.3% ), visual (28.696) and tactile (7.2% ) in the schizophrenics, and visual (78.3% ) auditory (47.8%) and tactile (34.8% ) in alcoholic psychotics. 5. The contents of auditory hallucinations in schizophrenics were persecutions (42.9% ),instructions (35.896) and supernature & spirituality (17.9% ) 、and the persecutions (21.8% ), voices of animal and bird (13.1%) and religious contents (8 .9%) in the alcoholic psychotics. The contents of visual hallucinations in schizophrenics were ghosts and religious figure (17.4% ) and strangers (10.8% ), and animals & insects (60.9% ), strangers (30.4% ), ghosts & religious figure (17.4% ) in the alcoholic psychotics. 6. Through remission stage, the reality sense to hallucinations was seen realistic (39.3% ), unrealistic (28,696) and uncertain (32.2% ) in schizophrenics. On the contrary, more frequent unrealistic (46.4% ) and realistic (26.1% ) in alcoholic psychotics. 7. In the responding behavior to the hallucination, positive adaptation (21.4%) was less than negative one (46.4% ) in schizophrenics and similar findings noted in alcoholic psychotics ; 21.1% vs 47.8%. 8. Regarding to the hallucinatory source, external origin was more in alcoholics (91. Z%) than schizophrenics(71. A%).
