방과후학교 음악교사의 문제점과 개선 방안

The Problems and Improvements on Music Teachers of After- school

본 연구는 방과후학교 음악교사가 경험하는 어려움에 관한 분석을 통해 그들의 문제점과 개선 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 G광역시의 방과후학교 음악교사 7명을 대상으로 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 방과후학교 음악교사는 인성, 교수·학습 방법, 학생과 학부모에 관한 이해 부족, 음악교육 지도 계획, 학생 수준에 따른 교재선정, 교사중심 교수 방법, 정체성과 교직 문화 이해 부족 등의 문제를 가지고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 따라서 이를 개선하기 위해서는 방과후학교 음악교사의 역량을 강화할 수 있는 다양한 지원 체계가 마련되어야 함을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to seek the difficulties and improvements of music teachers of after-school by analyzing the difficulties that they have experienced. For the study the in-depth interviews have been conducted to amass relating data on 7 after-school teachers in G Metropolitan City. The findings reveal that they had various problems such as personalities teaching & learning methods the incomprehension on students and parents the guidance plan for music education the selection of textbook the teacher-centered teaching method and the incomprehension on identities and teachership culture. Therefore in order to improve these problems it is suggested that diverse supporting systems be prepared for the increase of music teacher`s capabilities.
