小兒精神科 患者에 對한 臨床的 考察 ᅳ過運動性 行動障碍를 보인 患者를 中心으로一

A CLINICAL STUDY OF CHILDREN VISITED DEPARTMENT OF CHILD PSYCHIATRY IN THE NATIONAL MENTAL HOSPITAL : MAINLY OF THE PATIENTS MANIFESTING HYPERKINETIC BEHAVIORS

The National Hospital has opened the department of child psychiatry on Sep. 1, 1977. From the opening to Mar. 31, 1978, forty children were referred to this department. In this study, some clinical aspects of the forty children were reviewed. Among them, the patients having symptoms of :hyperkinetic behavior were selected and reviewed. The results were as follows; 1. The study sample was composed of 22 boys and 18 girls. 2. Range of their ages was from 4 to 16 years. Fourty seven psrcent of the sample were 12 years old or older and those from 6 to 12 years of age cosisted of 45%. 3. Most frequent diagnosis was convulsive disorder followed by schizophrenia, nsurosis and hyperkinetic syndrome in that order. 4. Forty percent of the sample were schizophrenics and neurotics and the onsets were during the ages of 12 to 16 years. Whereas earlier onset of 4 years of age or younger was comparatively more frequent in convulsive disorder and hyperkinetic syndrome. 5. Twenty one out of 40 patients showed hyperk-inetic behaviors. Their most frequent symptom was hyperactivity followed by impulsive and aggressive acts, distractibility, restlessness and learning disability in that order. 6. Diagnosis given to the hyperkinetic children was most frequently convulsive disorder followed by hyperkinetic syndrome, schizophrenia and neurosis in that rorder. 7. Fourteen of 21 children with hyperkinetic behaviors had some precipitating factors or past history of illness such as intracranial infection, infantile seizure, head trauma or (poisoning. 8. Thirteen of 19 hyperkinetic children who had recorded electroencephalography showed abnormal findings and six showed normal records,
