躁變病患者에 있어 Serum Lithium 濃度의 日中變化에 關한 硏究

VARIATIONS OF SERUM LITHIUM CONCENTRATION DURING THE DAY ON MANIC DEPRESSIVE PATIENTS

Five Manic depressive and five stabilized Schizophrenics were placed on a same dose of lithium carbonate daily. With 4 hour intervals, blood samples were drawn from these patients and serum lithium levels were determind by flame photometry. Manic depressive patients showed higher serum levels than those of schizophrenics, both groups maintaining a peak level in the early afternoon
