  • 21

There has been only a few studies on Human Figure Drawings in Adolescence. Thus the author collected 116 human figure drawings from 3 minor group of samples in one Korean rural area. The samples were consisted of 61 normally achieving school adolescents (Control A Gronp), 28 of Night School (B Group) which was attached to one county young men’s association and and 27 orphanage adolescents (C Group). The author analysed these samples not by the highly subjective manner but by the relatively objective technique that was made by the author s own idea. The following results were obtained from the study. 1. It is the author s opinion that there is certain possibility of transition in interpretation of human figure drawing from highly subjective methods to a objective statistic one. 2. There is statistical evidence that the drawings of orphange group are different from the control. 3. Drawings of night school group are similar to control in many proportion. But the degree of sexual differentiation, aggression index and the defensive concerning are meanigfully different from the control ones. 4. Adolescent’s drawing is thought to be useful to check out danger signals such as increased aggression and acting out ootentials.
