we have observed a case of acute brain syndrome associated with Disulfiram (Antabuse？？) ； a 27-year old male patient showed acute psychotic symptoms which developed within a few days after taking Antabuse . Possibilities of functional psychosis could be excluded by patient’s life history in the past and clinical course during hospisalized treatment. Disulfiram has been used frequently with the absence of caution by laymen to maintain the discomfort after alcohol consumption in persons taking this drug with out proper physician s prescription . But it causes rather drastic side effects sometimes and should be used under the physicians supervision and proper clinical observation .
