온라인 피아노 교육의 연구

The Study of Online Piano Education - The Online Piano Education of S Cyber University

이 논문은 기존의 피아노 교육에서 파생된 새로운 형태의 온라인 피아노 교육 내용과 방법, 그리고 적용에 따른 성과에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 하였다. 현대사회의 과학 발전과 통신망의 발달은 교육 시스템의 온라인화를 이끌어 내었으며 점차적으로 많은 학문분야에서 온라인 교육과 인터넷 교육이 보편화 되고 있다. 실기 위주의 교육이라는 특이점으로 변별성을 갖고 있는 피아노 교육은 지금까지 온라인 교육이 불가능한 것으로 인식되었으며 이로 인하여 제일 늦은 시점에서 온라인 시스템을 도입하게 되었다. 피아노 교육의 온라인화를 통한 교육의 전반적인 과정의 탐구를 통하여 온라인 피아노 교육의 새로운 모형을 제시하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 일반적인 피아노 교육방식은 교수자의 다양한 이론과 실기 기술을 학습자가 같은 공간과 시간 안에서 직접 전수받는 형식으로 이어져 왔다. 그러나 고도의 전문성을 요하는 피아노 교육은 기존의 교육체계나 방식으로는 피아노 학습을 열망하는 지원자들을 다 수용하기 어려운 것이 현실이다. 과학의 발전에 따라 시대는 피아노 교육방식의 변화를 요구하였고 그것은 사이버공간이라는 매개를 이용하는 보다 적극적인 방식으로 진화했다. S사이버대학교에서의 피아노 교육의 온라인화는 경제적으로나 시간이 자유롭지 못한 많은 피아노 학습 지원자를 제도권으로 받아들여 체계적인 학습과 전문성을 갖추도록 하였으며 피아노 학습 지원자들의 교육 기회 확대와 교육과정에서 획득하는 높은 학습 성과를 가져왔다. 따라서 이 같은 교육정책의 정착은 소외된 학습자들의 진로 문제 해결 및 학업 성취도 향상에 큰 기여를 할 수 있는 제도로 기대되어 진다.

This study is based on the contents, methods, and applications of new types of online piano education derived from preexisting piano teaching formats. With the continued development of modern technology combined with better and faster communication networks, this has led to the ‘online-ization’ of the education system for many fields and disciplines. Online piano education, which was once considered impossible, has only recently been introduced to the realm of online education due to the unique nature of evaluation and training required. The purpose of this study is to present a new model of online piano education by presenting the elements of this system and to show the efficacy of their application. The standard form of piano teaching involves two people, a teacher and a student, who respectively teach and learn the various theories and practical skills in a shared space and time. In reality however, the existing system and methods of piano teaching require a high level of expertise and is difficult to accommodate all students willing to learn. With the help of technology, modern times have demanded a change in the methods of piano education, thus aggressively leading to the permeation into cyberspace. The online piano education at S Cyber University was designed to provide systematic learning in an accredited institution to a large number of piano learning candidates who may be economically and/or time challenged, and to increase the educational opportunities of such applicants. Therefore, the establishment of this new educational tactic is expected to make great contributions, open more career opportunities and improve the academic achievements of marginalized learners.
