예술의 본질과 소통에 기반을 둔 유아음악교육에 대한 의미탐색

An Exploration to Music Education for Children Based on the Essence of Art and Communication

본 연구는 유아음악교육의 중요성을 강조하고자 예술교육에서 기본적으로 중시되어야 할 요소인 예술의 본질과 소통의 중요성 그리고 이에 기초한 상호적 관점이 유아음악교육에 주는 의미를 탐색함에 목적을 두었다. 문헌에 기초하여 탐색한 결과, 유아교육에서의 예술의 본질에 대한 이해와 적용은 유아음악교육에 반드시 필요한 요소임을 확인하였고, 이는 상호작용 중심의 교수-학습법을 구가하는 유아교육학에 서 예술과 교육을 통합적으로 이끌어내는 교육 실천의 목표임을 밝혔다. 이상의 논의는 예술의 본질과 소통에 기반을 둔 유아음악교육의 정체성에 대한 학문적 인식을 부각시켰다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this research was to examine the meaning of music education for children from the perspectives of the essence of art education and communication in order to increase the quality of music education for children. From the literatural review, the essence of art and the importance of communication were discussed. From this study, it was emphasized that the music teachers for children need to be acquainted with knowledge on the essence of art for fruitful communication with art per se in the way of selection of teaching contents and decision teaching method as well. Implication was mentioned in connection to curriculum design, instruction and teacher training.
