국내교육대학원음악교육전공석사논문의주제유형 조사연구

Investigative Research on Subject Types of Master s Theses of Music Education Majors at Domestic Graduate Schools of Education : Based on Subject Types Related to Piano

본 연구는 2006년∼2015년의 기간에 배출된 국내 55개 교육대학원 음악교육전공 석사논문의 피아노 관련 주제유형분류 조사를 실시하고 이를 바탕으로 본 영역의 연구 동향을 파악, 고찰함으로써 추후 연구의 방향 제시 및 주제 개발에 실질적인 도움을 줄 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째,‘음악교육전공’키워드 검색을 통한 해당 자료 총 6,000여 편의 세부 전공 유형별 빈도율은 기악 15.6%, 성악 8.9%, 작곡, 이론, 국악 및 기타 75.5%로 조사되었다. 둘째, 세부전공 중 피아노와 관련된 주제 유형은 기악의 30%의 비중을 차지하는 것으로 나타났으며 음악교육 전체의 4.7%에 해당하였다. 셋째, 피아노 관련 주제유형의 세부항목별 분류 결과에 따르면 ‘교수방법 및 지도방안’유형이 전체의 약50%로 가장 높은 빈도율을 보였으며 대상별 분포로는 유아 및 아동 대상의 연구 유형비율이 가장 높은 비율인 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로는 ‘교재, 교수법, 악곡 등의 분석 및 고찰’ 유형과 ‘음악수업을 위한 피아노 활용방안’유형이 각각 2위, 3위 항목으로 조사되었다. 넷째, 사례, 현황 조사 및 실험, 실습 등을 바탕으로 하는 양적연구 유형은 전체의 17.7%에 해당하는 것으로 나타났으며 양적연구의 필요성 인식을 바탕으로 해당분야의 연구주제 개발 및 활성화가 요구되는 시점이다. 향후 본 분야의 연구주제의 개발을 위해 현재까지 이루어졌던 선행연구를 대상으로 보다 면밀하고 심도 있는 분석 연구가 지속되어야 하며 영역 내 양적연구 및 질적연구 간의 균형과 조화를 위한 노력이 필요하다. 본 연구의 결과가 해당분야의 연구주제 개발 및 확장과 아울러 교육대학원 석사논문 작성을 위한 기초 자료로 활용되기를 바란다.

This study conducted the classification survey on the subject types related to the piano in master s theses of music education majors produced at 55 domestic Graduate Schools of Education in the period of 2006 ~ 2015 for the purpose of giving practical help, on the basis of the survey, in presenting directions and developing themes in the future researches by identifying and considering the research trends in this area. As a results, first, it was investigated that the frequency rate per detailed major type regarding over 6,000 relevant data in total through the search of keyword “Music education major” consisted of 15.6% for instrumental music, 8.9% for singing, and 75.5% for composition, theory, Korean traditional music and others. Second, the subject types related to the piano among detailed majors were shown to account for 30% of instrumental music and were equivalent to 4.7% of total music education. Third, according to the classified results by detailed item of the subject types related to the piano, the type of teaching methods and guidance plan showed the highest frequency rate with about 50% our of total while the research type of infants and children target showed the highest percentage in target-specific distribution. It was investigated to be followed by the second highest item, the type of analysis and study of textbooks, teaching methods and music and the third highest item, ‘methods to utilize the piano for music lessons’. Fourth, the quantitative research types based on the case analysis, survey and experiment and practice turned out to account for 17.7% out of total and it is the time where the development and activation of study subjects based on the recognition of the need for quantitative study is required. From now on, more meticulous and in-depth analysis than the previous studies that have been achieved for the development of study subject in this field to date should follow whereas efforts are needed to harmonize and balance the qualitative and quantitative research within the relevant study area. It is expected through this study that the results of this study can be utilized as basic data for preparing the master s thesis at graduate schools as well as for the development and expansion of research topics in the relevant area.
