TPACK for Teaching and Learning Musical Creation

본 연구는 테크놀로지 기반의 현대사회에서 최근 부각되고 있는 테크놀로지 교수내용지식(TPACK)을 음악교육에 적용시켜, 음악 창작 교수 · 학습을 위한 TPACK의 내용을 탐색하고 모색하는 데에 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 음악교육과 창작교육, 테크놀로지 교수내용지식(TPACK)에 대한 이론적 고찰과 선행연구 분석을 통해 본 연구를 위한 기초를 설정하였고, 이를 기반으로 음악 창작 교육을 위한 내용지식(CK)과 교수내용지식(PCK), 테크놀로지 내용지식(TCK)을 설계하였다. 이러한 지식 내용을 토대로 음악 창작 교수 · 학습을 위한 테크놀로지 교수내용지식(TPACK)을 설계하고 그 세부적인 실천적 지식 내용을 모색하여 제시하였다. 연구 결과를 통하여 음악 창작 교육을 위한 TPACK는 음악 창작 교육에서 무엇을 가르쳐야하며 그 가르쳐야 할 내용에 적합한 어떠한 테크놀로지를 어떻게 활용하여 어떤 방법으로 교수 · 학습해야 하는가에 대한 역량으로서 이때 필요로 하는 모든 지식과 기능과 태도임을 알 수 있다.

As computer, the internet, and mobile technologies lead the modern society, life structure, lifestyle, and behaviors of people have changed and students have become accustomed to using these technologies to solve all types of problems and interacting with them. And now education must adopt instructional methods based on these technologies in order to respond to and lead such changes. This study relates to technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK), which is receiving attention in the technology-based modern society, and applied it to music education in order to explore and examine TPACK for teaching and learning musical creation. Theories and previous research related to music education, creative education, and TPACK were analyzed, and, based on the result, content knowledge (CK), pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), and technology content knowledge (TCK) for musical creation education were designed. Based on the knowledge content, TPACK for teaching and learning musical creation was designed and specific contents related to the practical knowledge were proposed. Findings show that TPACK for musical creation education is related to what to teach and how to teach and learn it by using what technology and it involves knowledge, function, and attitude that is required for teaching and learning musical creation.
