Author studied on 363 delinquents of Korean Navy & Marine Corps who were sentenced by Military Court at Chin Hae area in the duration of January 1, 1961 to July 31, 1964， from which the following conclusions were obtained. 1. In all delinquents the most outstanding incidence was escape from the Military service (50%), and steal and embezzlement was followed. Which is similar to steal and truancy in comparison with the individual delinquency. 2. Escape from the military service is Higher rate： in the first year of enlistment (39%) and gradually decreased during the service. The time of the onset of the mental illness in Korean Navy and Marine Corps revealed the similar finding. 3. The motivations of the escape from the m ilitary service are prominent in dislikes, depressions and familial Problems (80%). 4. Out of 363 delinquents 11 men are mental illness (3.0%).
